Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026. This policy explains what Sugar Daddy Ottawa collects, why, and the control you keep over it.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, the profile information you choose to provide (such as age range, neighbourhood, interests and photos), and verification materials used solely to confirm authenticity. We also collect standard technical data — device type, browser, approximate region and usage patterns — to operate and improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to operate your account, show your profile to other members according to your privacy settings, facilitate messaging, verify authenticity, maintain safety and moderation, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your profile with advertisers.

3. Photos & Profile Visibility

Profiles are visible only to registered members. Photos marked private are shown only to members you explicitly approve. Verification images are used only for the verification process and are never displayed publicly.

4. Messages

Conversations are stored on our systems to deliver the messaging service and to investigate reported safety violations. We do not read private messages except where required for moderation of a report, fraud prevention, or legal obligation.

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; essential cookies are required for the service to function.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, photos and messages are removed from active systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for unresolved safety investigations.

7. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, or delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting privacy@sugardaddyottawa.com. Residents of Canada may have additional rights under applicable privacy legislation.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, restricted internal access and regular security review to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; we commit to notifying affected members promptly if a breach risks their personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will notify members by email and update the date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
